Hello everyone, thanks for sticking with me even though I’m posting slightly less frequently at the moment. I have loads of posts stacked up, so I’m hoping there’ll be plenty of reviews and interesting things to read for you over the next month or so. Today’s post is a wishlist! I haven’t done one of these for a long time, and to be honest I’ve really been off clothes recently (have you noticed?) and bang into beauty instead. I think it’s because I’m not exactly the size I want to be at the moment, so I’m finding clothes shopping a little taxing, plus I’ve not really felt much enthusiasm for the offerings of last season. I’m hoping very much that will improve come Autumn/Winter.
The first thing on the list is this Zara Faux Leather Sleeved Tshirt (£17.99). I was watching YouTube videos the other day and someone I subscribe to (can’t remember who, sorry!) had bought it. I feel like this would be so easy to wear and has a little accent to make it a little more interesting. I’ll be trying to get my hands on this in store in the coming week. Next, I’m still loving clutch bags more than ever. I have a dark colour (navy blue) and a nude one so the next on my list is a bright. These Metal Frame Clutches from ASOS are pretty reasonable at £18 and come in a few different colours too.
My skin’s been a little congested recently, probably due to my holiday and the changing climates plus new products I used. So on Friday I bought the Origins Clear Improvement mask to try to combat it. I’ll be writing a review on that one soon, but the mask I’ve actually been after for ages is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask (£20). I think this’ll be great as the weather gets colder and my skin gets drier so I’m going to pick it up soon. The masks are pretty pricey though so I’ll be waiting a bit before I get this one. Another beauty item I want to get my hands on is the Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua Foundation (£32). I’ve constantly heard good things about this and I feel like foundation is an area of beauty that I really don’t have much knowledge on. I’m planning on expanding my collection a bit and I think this is where I’ll begin!
I’ve seen the Michael Kors Rose Gold Plated Watch (£199) on so many people and although I really don’t like jumping on the bandwagon, especially with accessories, I have to admit that it’s stolen my heart a bit. It’s such a flattering, gorgeous colour and I think because of that it’s easier to slide into different outfits. Chunky, gold watches can often look too brassy or manly with feminine outfits so I think this is the perfect mix. ASOS is currently out of stock but I’m sure with a little googling you could track it down. Another little bit of luxury I’m lusting over at the moment is the NEOM Organics Home Candle in Restore (£39.50). £40 for a candle?! I know, I know. This is just one of the things that the “blogosphere” has started to make me think is normal. Oh, but I bet it smells so good!
In my old age, I’m starting to lean towards pieces that are a little more classic than trendy. I think this Zara Silver Voluminous Dress (£49.99) is a good mix of the two. I’ve always gravitated to very structured pieces and I think this dress would be a pretty timeless/seasonless purchase that would last me for a long time to come, for a whole host of different occasions too. Lastly, there’s been a bit of a trend for “Beauty Products Worth the Hype” videos on YouTube recently and I really like them. They give you a really good idea for what people actually feel are the essentials, and this Jemma Kidd Dewy Glow All Over Radiance Creme in Iced Gold (£13.60/£17) seems to be making lots of appearances. The main thing my collection is missing at the moment is a cream highlighter I actually like (I have Benefit Moonbeam, but… meh) so I’m thinking I might splash out on this. I love the packaging too, looks like it would be very easy to apply.
So what are you loving at the moment? Anything you’ve bought recently or you’re lusting over? Let me know in the comments! Also: do you own any of the items on my list? If so, let me know what you think of them! Thanks for reading and see you soon :)
