I love red carpet fashion. This year's Emmy Awards brought out some pretty amazing gowns. A lot of gowns were light in colour and fabric and very feminine - like Glee's Jayma Mays, Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss and the gorgeous Julia Stiles. But bolder colours like red and blue also proved popular, as well as the never-out-of-fashion black. Kate Winslet and Emily Blunt both stunned in Elie Saab designs, and The Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev was an absolute knockout in a red Donna Karan number which oozed Jessica Rabbit sex appeal without losing its classiness. Kelly MacDonald is my favourite of the night in a breathtaking Stella McCartney creation.
Strange choices for me on the night were Dianna Agron who looked a bit weird in her blue high necked satin, and Gwyneth Paltrow who's Pucci dress, although absolutely gorgeous, didn't seem exactly age appropriate.
