In 2004, aged 17, I used an image from Nylon magazine in my visual journal. The page looked like this:
People asked me if I did it myself, often warranting the reply “HEEEELLLLLL NO! I WISH!!!” from me. I didn’t pay attention to the artist or the context, I just thought it was pretty. That’s kind of how I roll.
However, on closer inspection, I have come to discover the artist and all her wonders! I thought it was time to share a bit about her work with you lovely people.

I can’t tell you really why I like them so much, I think it’s the colours which appeal to me most and the simplistic silhouettes. I get such a sense of beauty, purity and elegance from these.
Just wanted to share these with you. Check out more and bigger versions (some can only be appreciated on a bigger scale, honestly) @ stinapersson.com
Tell me what you think! Do you know any more artists like this?
