I feel as like this outfit is very distinctly me, though no doubt some of you will think it's a bit hideous.

Opposing jewel tones, a hundred textures and gaudy gold are the main things that get me hot right now, so, love it or hate it, but it's pretty much my personality in an outfit. Paired with a leather jacket and some gold knuckle duster rings it would pretty much be perfect.

    YES to all this. I'm still torn on velvet for clothing (rather than accessories) but the playsuit is such a great colour I'm wavering now. Plus love the shoes (obv) and as you say, gaudy gold rules. Jewel-tastic!

    Adore the velvet playsuit - and the ensemble in general actually!
    I tend to associate velvet as being quite a seasonal/festive fabric and in such a glorious burgundy/wine colour, this Missguided offering couldn't tick the Christmas box more fervently!! (Was hoping for a slightly friendlier price than £32.99..but where there's a will, there's a way, and I definitely will have this in my wardrobe before A/W is over!)

    ohh, the velvet playsuit is lovely, such a beautiful colour. i'd say my pieces for the festive season are pretty similar to my usual style - rich colours, green, burgundy, black, sheer materials and velvet :) x
