Now, I'm sure Button Moon is a review you've all seen a thousand times over, but I just thought I'd share my thoughts too.
The Colour: AMAZING! I love Barry M's Mint Green too but this is just a tad more pleasing for me, not quite sure why that is, but think it maybe that there's a little more blue in it. Who doesn't want nails which match Tiffany's packaging? Its a cheap way to Audrey yourself up. Also, I have to say, for a girl who is desperately trying to work this season's pastels into her wardrobe but isn't much of a pinks and lilacs type of girl, this is going down a treat.
The Application: I would say that the application and consistency of this product is where its failings are. I have a few of these polishes and I have found that Button Moon is the hardest one to work with. Its streaky and quite sticky and takes a bit of work to get even. I found it just about passed with two coats but really needed 3 to get the colour and the smoothness promised from the way the bottle looked. The brush is a cute little size and perfectly easy to work with, had the polish itself not been so viscous. I also noticed that contrary to its name and selling point, it wasn't very "fast drying" at all.
The Packaging: Cute little bottle, looks nice in my make-up drawer and a great size for on the go nail painting.
Despite being disappointed by the application process, I can't really grumble as these polishes are so cheap. They come in a wide range of colours and I would fully recommend them as a cheap shortcut to on-trend nails this spring.
The Collection 2000 Hot Looks Fast Dry polishes available from here or any good Boots or Superdrug for £1.79 - and I think they're even 2 for £3 at the moment on the Boots website, so hop on over!
(I wasn't sent this product, FYI, I paid for it with my own money - through the lovely Abbie actually - so I can say what I like about it thanks! All my reviews are always honest!)
